Korea Productivity Association (KPA) and INFORMS Korea Chapter (KINFORMS) cordially invite you to the KPA & KINFORMS 2009 International Conference, "New Challenges in Service Productivity and Innovation". KPA has built a reputation in productivity studies since 1985 in Korea. KINFORMS is an active INFORMS chapter specialized in Korean business studies. KPA and KINFORMS together raise issues on service productivity and innovation under rapidly changing environment toward service economy. Industry sectors of financial service, health care, and ICT & logistics will be covered in depth. This conference also offers a cultural tour on day 1. All sessions will be sponsored by two associations.


Participants who wish to present a contributed paper should submit an abstract and a full-text electronically to hrhim@korea.ac.kr with a copy to leecw@hanyang.ac.kr. An abstract and a full-text must be written in English. At most one contributed paper can be accepted from the same lead author. Covered topics are financial services, health care, ICT and logistics, and other related issues of economics and management.

Hosting Associations will support partially each registration fee for early registered participants. The registration fee will include lunches, coffees, general reception, conference gifts, and participations in all sessions. For accompanying persons, the registration fee covers lunches, coffees and general reception.

From the Airport
Limousine Bus
Limousine bus is a convenient and inexpensive way to get to SNU from Incheon International Airport(IIA). Take airport limousine bus (Number 603) and get off at the Main Gate of SNU. Bus fare is KRW 7,500 and it takes about 80 minutes under normal traffic conditions. Service is available everyday from 5 am to 8 pm at Incheon International Airport with no charge for the baggage.

Call-van Service
A Call-van is called "Jumbo Taxi" here and service can hold up to 5 passengers and up to one ton of baggage. Fares are about KRW 65,000 from IIA to SNU. For reservations, please call 1588-6499 (domestically) or +82 2 310 3312 (from overseas).

Taxi Service
The fare for taxi service from IIA to SNU is around KRW 40,000 depending on the traffic situation. By Deluxe Taxi (Mobeom Taxi), which offers kinder service, the approximate fare is KRW 60,000.
