| |  | Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, It is great pleasure to host an International Seminar under the theme of 2007 Sustainable Innovation and Global Productivity. The new era of Innovation has been emphasized the role of economic revolution and changed the paradigm of productivity. Internet and information-based e-business environment made the global economy so difficult to be accommodated into the legacy system of businesses. Nonetheless, innovation should take the key role to advance the global economy, because there are no more the input-oriented productivity sustainable. Of course, the innovation always requires the creative destruction from the legacy system and thus it creates more friction in the business environment. As long as innovation takes the key role to lead the global economy for the future, we need to focus the sustainable innovation in the global economic system. This is the main purpose of our seminar of 2007 Sustainable Innovation and Global Productivity. Through the seminar, I really anticipating many insightful presentation and discussions for the future of the global economy. Your heartful and pro-active participation shall be greatly honoured.
